What do an airline pilot, a lawyer, a marine biologist and a medical scientist all have in common?

They are all volunteers with Fremantle Sea Rescue. Our crew consists of people from a wide range of ages, occupations and backgrounds. Each volunteer brings with them different skills and knowledge.

Our volunteers, many with full time jobs and families, still manage to give up time to contribute to the valuable service that Fremantle Sea Rescue provides to the public.

Interested in Helping?

Volunteering with Fremantle Sea Rescue can be on many different levels.

Crew with a StretcherMost of our people are boat and radio crew on the weekends only but we also have midweek radio operators who give a half day each week to man the radio tower. Some of our volunteers don’t do radio or boat shifts but dedicate their time to administration, helping with the treasurers role and processing memberships.

Fremantle Sea Rescue is always looking for more dedicated people to assist.
