An ex Department of Transport vessel, it was originally the groups Rottnest vessel until Reliant was purchased. Rover 1 is now dedicated to rescues in the Swan and Canning Rivers. Like Reliant it is a fast response boat which can travel in excess of 40 knots. It is powered by twin Yamaha 130hp outboards.
