About Us
The Fremantle Volunteer Sea Rescue Group has been assisting the Western Australian public for over 35 years. FVRSG is a not for profit organisation operated by those who willingly dedicate their time to provide vessel assistance, radio coverage and education.
Funding is made possible by corporate sponsorship, public donations and fundraising events. Limited funding is also provided by state government.
These guardians of the waterways are recognised as a leading professional organisation, which has a long history and proud record of achievements.
Our aim is to uphold the highest level of professionalism by maintaining our standards in personnel, equipment and training.
We continually improve our standards through our own professionally conducted courses, and on the job training. Our volunteers are highly trained to ensure that they attain excellence in performing their duties and responsibilities under all conditions.
